Bossen's Basil seeds come from the seeds of a sweet basil plant and are highly nutritious! Easy prep by soaking in cool water for 15 minutes. They become enlarged into a translucent orb when soaked in water like chia seeds, and then have a crunchy texture. They are considered a super food and are a delicious addition to any dessert or drink such as bubble tea, smoothies and fruit beverages. Sprinkle them everywhere, even in your jasmine green tea for a health boost! 

Did you know basil seeds are also known as Indian chia, sabja or tukmaria? Health benefits include being a high source of minerals and fibers (iron, calcium, magnesium, omega-3 fat), and used for cleansing the body, improve skin, guard against heart disease and aid in weight loss. Many drinks also used basil seeds as a natural thickener.
