Some packages came moldy/expired

The texture of this is like mochi but not the taste. My kids tried it and thought the mochi tasted terrible. I tried it and agreed. The texture is good but I really dislike the way this mochi taste. I will not be ordering it again, unfortunately.

I bought these based that your website said these were kosher with an OU Kosher Certification. When I could find no kosher certification on any of the 5 bags of the mini mochis, I called "Customer Service." Your rep., Randy (?), first attacked me with: "Who told you they were kosher, to did I call before?" I had not called before. Then, she checked and said "They were kosher but did not have the certification," which means they cannot be sold as kosher. Then, she said they quickly removed the OU Kosher certification from their advertising, which I had copied and sent to her. Then, they refunded my $25.00, as if that made "everything all right." But, it doesn't. What you certify in your advertising had better be true or you are guilty of false advertising. In this case, your claims of selling false kosher products lulls the public to buy your products which unknowingly violate their religious beliefs and stomachs. I believe these mini mochis contain lard, a pork derivative. And an unhealthy additive at that.

Also, anyone newly hired or not, representing your business should either know the facts or just indicate they will check the facts and get back to them.

The bottom line is that false advertising hurts you, the Consumer and the law. For those Consumers who rely on a kosher certification, it is morally wrong and illegal to lie in your website/national advertising about the food content of your ingredients which your advertising people obviously knew about, all along. If you want to sell a product as kosher, I'd strongly suggest you make sure it is.
