First Review, 3rd Time Purchasing.

Ok, so like many of you, I typically don't want to write reviews unless it's really, really good OR it's really, really bad. In this case, it's really, really good. I

'm old fashion and old school so I tend to look for the same in my food, meaning, traditional like passed down from generations. Whenever I was in Taiwan, I would reminisce and look for food stalls that carried the same type of flavor/taste stuck in my childhood. Very, very few times I've been lucky enough to come across a couple and then I stumbled upon this website and this Dark Roast Oolong tea bags. I kid you not, this taste just like what I remember of the Taiwanese traditional red tea, 傳統紅茶, flavor.

However, here's the thing. I discovered depending on how much black sugar syrup you add into your dark roast oolong tea, it CAN change the flavor. Ranging from my favorite 傳統紅茶 to the taste of coffee. I know, it sounds weird but that's what I tasted but I've ordered three times before posting this review to be certain. I've also bought the pump that's sold on here (You do not want to buy the pump UNLESS you've bought the bigger premium size syrup bottles!) From my calculation, 2 to 2 1/2 pumps is perfect to add into your 40 ounce tumbler, to make your oolong drink taste like the old fashion red tea flavor. Any more and it will taste like coffee, sweet coffee.

On a side note, I don't go to the trouble of cooking my tea in anything fancy or time consuming, just a regular, clean cooking pot, possibly 50 to 60 oz. Pour my tap water in, up to a few cm off from full, toss in only two bags of tea leaves, turn it up on high and it should be more than ready in about 7 to 10 minutes, all depending on your cookware AND wattage of your current electric stove or gas stove. Hope you enjoy this new discovery of tea leaves like I did. Have a great day.

Amazing!

I was skeptical when I first ordered. I brewed one back with 16oz of water. It was flavorful and absolutely no bitterness. Tastes like my roasted oolong tea I get from my favorite boba place !
